ARMA ANNOUNCES 1999 ACCIDENT PREVENTION CONTEST WINNERS

(Calverton, MD) - The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) announces the winners of the 1999 ARMA Annual Accident Prevention Contest. In 1999, 43 facilities improved over their prior year ARMA Index. The winners in each group in the contest receive the ARMA "President's Award: distinguishing them as the top ARMA Accident Prevention Contest facility in their respective categories.

ARMA President's Award Winners

Group A: Over 300,000 Labor Hours Worked Per Year

Group B: 200,000 to 300,000 Labor Hours Worked Per Year

Group C: 100,000 to 200,000 Labor Hours Worked Per Year

Participating facilities that improve over the prior year receive a Certificate of Achievement for their efforts. The following facilities will receive a Certificate of Achievement for their improvements in 1999 over 1998:
