ARMA Accident Prevention Contest
Announces 2001 Winners

[Washington, DC] - The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association [ARMA] has announced the winners of the 2001 ARMA Accident Prevention Contest. In 2001, 41 facilities improved over the prior year ARMA Index. The winners of each group in the industry contest receive the prestigious "ARMA President's Award" distinguishing them as the top ARMA Accident Prevention Contest facility for the year in their respective categories.

Participating facilities that improved over the prior year receive a Certificate of Achievement for their accomplishments and efforts. The following facilities will receive a Certificate of Achievement for their improvements in 2001 over 2000:

The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) is the North American trade association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of bituminous-based residential and commercial fiberglass and organic asphalt shingle roofing products, roll roofing, built-up (BUR) roofing systems, and modified bitumen roofing systems.
